i’m a strictly catholic person, being born from a strictly catholic family and educated by a catholic school. i have a few religious jewelry pieces like crucifix pendants and rosary rings that i use often – to remind me of my faith and at the same time to show to other people that it is not uncool to be spiritual. but i just don’t believe in using religious jewelries to show off the precious stones and gems that they’re made of. i think it’s a form of sacrilege. these spiritual items must be respected for what they represent and not be treated as ordinary jewelries.
